Atuarfik Edvard Kruse is the town's primary school with about 250 students from grades 1-10 as well as a special class. The school also houses the town's library and is thus a natural part of the community.

As a teacher at Atuarfik Edvard Kruse, you will be part of a school where you get close to the students, colleagues, and the local community. You will have the opportunity to use your professional skills broadly and help create a good and developing school day for children and young people.

We are looking for two teachers, and we are open to different professional profiles.

Teacher for the oldest grades – 8th-10th grade

We are looking for a teacher who can teach several of the following subjects:

• Local Elections

Teacher for middle grades – 4th-7th grade

We are looking for a teacher who can teach several of the following subjects:

• Mathematics

• Physical Education
• Social Studies
• History
• Religion
• Natural Science
• Personal Development
• Local Elections

Additionally, there will be opportunities to take on various functions and tasks at the school.

Salary and employment conditions

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between Naalakkersuisut and the negotiating organization at the time of commencement.

Housing may be provided.

The position is subject to the law on the obligation to obtain a child certificate as well as a public criminal record.
