The Education Agency is seeking an AC officer for the GUX area.

The Education Agency is looking for an employee who is professionally engaged and has the ability and desire to join a collaborative team that values development highly. We are looking for you, who takes pride in delivering solid professional craftsmanship, and who approaches your tasks in a structured manner.

The position is located in the Department for transitions, exams, and statistics and the department head.

The tasks include, among other things:

• Working with the daily administration and operation of the education programs.
• Coordination and development of the GUX exam area.
• Overseeing the work with task commissions and subject consultants.
• Coordinating and arranging central course and continuing education activities for the high schools.
• Participating in the ongoing development of work processes in the area.
• Coordinating and developing guidance materials.
• Managing and developing the GUX team's page on Iserasuaat.
• Developing, managing, and optimizing case processes related to admission to GUX, including application forms.
• Coordinating tasks regarding UWC (United World Colleges) and Nordic projects.
• Other ad hoc tasks in the high school area.

• You are well acquainted with the upper secondary education programs and the education sector in general.
• You have an overview and can work systematically and organized.
• You have good oral and written communication and dissemination skills.
• You are good at both teamwork and working independently.
• You have a good knowledge of society.

About the Education Agency
The Education Agency is a politically governed organization and works both with servicing the Department and the political level as well as development and production. The Education Agency is currently undergoing reorganization of work areas and procedures – which you are also expected to help with.
We are a diverse workplace with many different functions, which, in addition to more traditional agency functions, also has its own publishing house, printing house, and information and lending collections. The agency mainly deals with public schools, boarding schools, and independent schools, operational tasks in the high school area, and the NUIKI project. We are about 55 colleagues who, in an informal environment, take pride in maintaining a high professional level.

Salary and employment conditions
Salary - and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

For an applicant with the right documentable competencies, employment can occur as a special consultant, chief consultant, or senior advisor in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.

Housing
No staff housing is provided for the position. If an applicant already has staff housing through employment in the Self-Government, the right to assigned staff housing is retained. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
