Physiotherapist in Paamiut

Health Region Sermersooq and Municipality of Sermersooq are looking for a physiotherapist for a cross-sectoral position in Paamiut with the associated village of Arsuk. Approximately 1250 residents live in the town. Travel between the towns is by plane and boat.

You will be part of a team with a doctor, nurses, medical students, interpreters, and a number of support staff. You will collaborate with the two leading physiotherapists in the therapy department at DIH and in the municipality.

There will be an introductory period in the physiotherapy at Queen Ingrid's Hospital and the municipality in Nuuk totaling 2-3 weeks.

The position is available for occupancy on December 1, 2026, or by agreement.

The physiotherapist's professional tasks are located both at Queen Margrethe's Health Center and in the municipal sector, such as with home-dwelling citizens and in Puilasuinnguit (nursing home) in Paamiut.

Salary and employment

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
