The Regional Hospital Ilulissat is seeking committed anesthesia nurses for permanent positions or temporary contracts by agreement.

About the Regional Hospital Ilulissat

The Regional Hospital Ilulissat is the largest hospital in the Avannaa Region and handles a wide range of tasks for the region's other health centers.

The hospital consists, among other things, of:

• Ward with 21 beds
• Outpatient clinic and emergency room
• Two modern operating rooms
• X-ray and laboratory
• Physiotherapy
• Health care
• Somatic and psychiatric home nursing
• Midwifery function and births

Your tasks

As an anesthesia nurse, you will among other things work with:

• Anesthesia for acute and planned surgeries
• Receiving and stabilizing acute patients
• Assisting in trauma receptions and critically ill patients
• Postoperative observation and care
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with doctors, nurses, assistants, and other professional groups
• Teaching and professional sparring with colleagues

When there is no surgical activity, you will naturally be part of the overall patient pathway in the ward, where you collaborate closely with the department's other staff.

We are looking for both permanent employees and temporary workers.

To get the most out of the introduction and training process, we prefer temporary contracts of 3 months or longer. Working as an anesthesia nurse in Greenland involves a wide range of tasks, great independence, and close interdisciplinary collaboration, and it takes time to become familiar with the department's functions and workflows.

At the same time, we know that flexibility can be crucial. Therefore, we would also love to hear from you if you have the opportunity for a shorter temporary position. Housing

Housing will be provided according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic healthcare system at any given time.

Salary and employment

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Citizenship

If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that employment is conditional on a valid residence and work permit. A residence and work permit can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
