The 24-hour service Meeqqat Angerlarsimaffiat Ivaaraq in Qaqortoq is looking for a department leader for Orpigaq (Activity center for residents)

 
Meeqqat Angersimaffiat Ivaaraq is a nationwide 24-hour service for citizens with multiple disabilities, normed for 15 residents distributed across 2 departments. 
The service is located in Qaqortoq – a very beautiful town surrounded by lovely nature. The staff group has experience in the field. Ivaaraq is a lively, different, and exciting workplace, with a focus on development.
 
A bit about Orpigaq
Orpigaq is an activity center for the residents and has various activities that are tailored to the residents.

Sensory activities, body movement, music, etc. 

1 department leader in Orpigaq 40 hours weekly with employment starting 01 November 2026 or by further agreement.

Conditions: 

• Must be a qualified educator. 
• Has leadership experience.
• Interest and experience in working with children/adults with multiple disabilities.
• Is able to take on responsibilities and tasks in daily operations.
• Can work independently while also prioritizing collaboration highly.
• Can contribute to shaping the pedagogical development
• Has overview and impact.
• Is professionally and personally well-founded

Daily work and responsibilities:

• In collaboration with the principal and department leaders, ensure the quality of the pedagogical work.
• Guidance and support to the staff.
• Create activities for the residents

Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Child and criminal record 

It should be expected that, with consent, a criminal and child record will be obtained if one does not bring a new criminal and child record oneself.

No housing can be provided for the position
