The Municipality of Qeqertalik, Aasiaat, is looking for 1 social pedagogue deputy manager to start on July 1, 2026, or by further agreement, for the Tikiusaaq nursery for ages 0-3 years. The Tikiusaaq nursery has four rooms.

General information about the Tikiusaaq Nursery:

·The position is a full-time position, 40 hours a week.

·Administration for the Tikiusaaq nursery falls under INUIT.

Applicant qualifications:

·Be responsible, have an overview, and the ability to empathize and adapt.

·Be able to handle stressful situations, be flexible, cooperative, welcoming, and stable.

·Good physical and mental health and an open and cheerful demeanor.

·Be prepared to work according to the institution's goals and action plans.

·A person who can take over the manager's responsibilities when the manager is absent.

Salary and employment conditions:

·Salary and employment conditions will be according to the applicable agreement.

There is no housing available

Criminal record and child certificate:

This position is covered by the law requiring the collection of criminal records and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received satisfactory criminal records and child certificates. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the national police, as well as the criminal record from the police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal record is obtained by the individual from the police.
