Aasiaat - The daycare Tikiusaaq is looking for a social helper

The Municipality of Qeqertalik, Aasiaat, is looking for 1 social helper to start on October 1, 2026, or by further agreement, the daycare Tikiusaaq for ages 0-3 years. The daycare Tikiusaaq has four rooms.

General information about the daycare Tikiusaaq:

·The position is a full-time position, 40 hours a week.

·Administration for daycares falls under INUIT.

Applicant qualifications:

·Be responsible, have an overview, and the ability to empathize and adapt.

·Be able to handle stressful situations, be flexible, cooperative, welcoming, and stable.

·Physically and mentally in good health and have an open and cheerful demeanor.

·Be prepared to work according to the daycare's objectives and action plans.

Criminal and child certificate:

This position is subject to the law requiring the collection of criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon when the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police, as well as the criminal certificate from the Police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal certificate is obtained by the individual from the Police.

Salary and employment conditions:

·Salary and employment conditions will be according to the applicable collective agreement.
