Nutrition Assistant for Integrated Institution Soralu

The Municipality of Sermersooq is looking for a skilled and dedicated Nutrition Assistant for Integrated Institution Soralu to start as soon as possible.

Soralu is an Integrated Institution with 54 children distributed across 4 rooms, 3 nursery children and 1 kindergarten child. The staffing consists of a total of 15 personnel.

The integrated institution is located in scenic surroundings by the mountain and sea and is situated in Qernertunnguanut.

The institution opened in 2008.

Job content: We are looking for an experienced Nutrition Assistant to participate in daily cooking and handle a number of tasks including:

·Ordering food supplies

·Can cook

·Can work independently

·Can create varied meal planning

·Can prepare food for allergy sufferers

·Can clean according to self-control

We expect:

·That you are a trained Nutrition Assistant

·Have experience in preparing healthy food for children

·Have knowledge of cooking for allergy sufferers

·Can prepare food for children aged 0-6 years with varying diets

·Can work independently

·Can clean in the kitchen according to self-control

·Cooperative

·That you are welcoming and positive towards children, staff, and parents

Criminal and Child Certificate:

The position is subject to the law requiring the collection of criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police as well as the criminal certificate from the Police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal certificate is obtained by the individual from the Police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreement between the Government of Greenland, according to the agreement/contract in effect at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.

Housing:

No staff housing can be provided for the position.
