Do you want to be part of a surgical department with high professionalism, strong camaraderie, and lots of job satisfaction?
Then you now have the opportunity to apply for a permanent position or a temporary position for 3–6 months at K2.

Work is done in rotating shifts with weekend duty every 2nd weekend. We use a wish schedule, so you have influence over your own shift plan and the possibility for flexibility in your work life.

With us, you will be part of a department with a positive atmosphere, engaged colleagues, and a work environment where we prioritize well-being and professional development. We have a close and well-functioning collaboration with our neighboring departments, and interdisciplinary collaboration is a natural and important part of everyday life.

About the department

K2 is a surgical department with 18 beds. We primarily work with parenchymal surgery and urology and receive patients from all over the country – both elective patients for assessment and surgery as well as subacute and acute patients from Nuuk and evacuations from the coast.

Patient pathways range from short, planned admissions to longer and complex courses. We also manage palliative pathways of both shorter and longer duration, where holistic care, creativity, and patient involvement are central elements.

Attached to the department is a Stoma Clinic, staffed by a specially trained nurse from K2.

We offer

  • A field of tasks that is diverse, challenging, and meaningful – always with the patient at the center and with strong collegial support
  • An introduction program tailored to your needs and experiences
  • An exciting and varied position with both elective and acute patient pathways
  • A department in professional development, where you can have influence and responsibility
  • A work environment characterized by high professionalism, good humor, and strong collegial camaraderie
  • Close interdisciplinary collaboration in a dynamic and multicultural environment
  • Thorough introduction tailored to your competencies
  • Opportunity for both professional and personal development

We are looking for you who

  • Is either newly graduated or has broad experience as a nurse
  • Has an interest in the surgical patient group and their relatives
  • Thrives in a day-to-day life with changing pace and complex issues
  • Works structured and independently
  • Is flexible, positive, and actively contributes to a good work environment
  • Values sparring and knowledge sharing with colleagues
  • Wants to work in a multicultural environment
  • Preferably has good IT skills – we document, among other things, in COSMIC

Does this sound like a position for you, and do you want to be part of a department with strong professionalism and a positive atmosphere, then we look forward to receiving your application.
