Chairman / Operations Coordinator for Permagreen in Maniitsoq

We are looking for an engaged and structured colleague who can help ensure a good and efficient daily operation in our department.

We are open to different profiles. You could be the experienced craftsman or foreman who thrives on coordinating employees and tasks – or you could have an administrative background and be strong in planning, structure, and follow-up on production.

The most important thing is that you can create an overview, take responsibility, and make things happen.

About the department in Maniitsoq

In Maniitsoq, we solve a wide range of tasks within renovation, new construction, facilities, and service. The department employs both skilled and unskilled workers in areas such as carpentry, painting, and masonry, as well as apprentices.

You will become a central part of the daily operation and play an important role in creating cohesion between the employees on site, the customers, the suppliers, and the headquarters in Nuuk.

About the position:

Your role will be adapted to your profile and competencies, but may include:

• Planning and coordinating daily tasks and employees.

• Follow-up on service and smaller contract tasks.

• Contact with customers, suppliers, and partners.

• Ordering materials and coordinating logistics.

• Follow-up on finances, invoicing, and consumption.

• Quality assurance and follow-up on tasks.

• Practical support to the department's management and production.

So either you have a craft background and will be able to take a larger role in the professional coordination and management of the employees, or you have an administrative background where you will be more able to create structure around the production and ensure that tasks, finances, and administration are followed through.

About you:

We imagine that you either have a craft background and experience as a foreman, service leader, or similar, or have an administrative background and experience with coordination, finance, invoicing, or other operational support.

Experience from the construction and facilities industry is an advantage, but not a requirement.

As a person, you are structured, independent, and good at creating an overview. You take initiative, follow up on your tasks, and thrive in a daily life where there are many balls in the air. You are also good at collaborating and communicating with different people.
