Reposting - Editor for educational material production

The Education Agency's educational material publisher Ilinniusiorfik wishes to strengthen the work of publishing educational materials. The publisher is working on developing new educational materials, which among other things focus on new and current teaching courses with student-activating content, as well as systems for primary schools, development of digital materials, and new working methods. The development of educational materials takes place in collaboration with the agency's other school consultants and external professionals.
Therefore, the Education Agency is looking for an editor who is innovative in learning material production and results-oriented with insight into modern and technology-based educational materials.

So far, it is a matter of 1 project position until the end of 2027, with the possibility of extension.
Start date November 1, 2026, or by agreement.

About the position
The publisher Ilinniusiorfik is engaged in both the development of entirely new learning materials, versions of existing learning materials, as well as dissemination and linguistic arrangement of both digital and analog didactically arranged publications. Our new colleagues will join a team with the publisher's other editors. The publisher's editors also contribute to the Education Agency's other tasks in collaboration with colleagues and external partners.

About the Education Agency
The Education Agency is a politically governed organization under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, and Church. We are a diverse workplace with many different functions, which, in addition to more traditional agency functions, also has its own publishing house, printing house, and information and lending collections. The agency mainly deals with primary schools, continuation schools, and independent schools, as well as the new GUX, Attat, and NUIKI. We are about 50 colleagues who, in an informal environment, take pride in maintaining a high professional level.

Salary and employment conditions
Salary - and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Housing
No staff housing is provided for the position. If an applicant already has staff housing through employment in the Self-Government, the right to assigned staff housing is retained. The staff housing is tied to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
