Teaching assistant wanted in Nuuk

Seeking two pedagogical assistants or with similar education

Disability Social Psychiatry under the support corps.

We are looking for a pedagogical assistant as soon as possible who can work as a support person for adults with physical and mental disabilities living in Nuuk. The position is 40 hours a week and the working hours are primarily Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM

Procedure:

·Work is done from citizen to citizen with different working hours, working according to the citizen's purpose in the given situation

·A path is paved for the citizen's daily life by supporting the citizens in their daily life

·Work is done according to the action plan

·Citizens are supported so they have a normal daily life

Target group:

·We work with adults who have physical and mental disabilities who have their own home, one goes to their home to provide service for them

Job tasks:

·The service is provided with the citizen at the center

·Create an action plan together with the citizen

·Take the citizen to public places, such as the emergency room, etc.

We imagine that you:

·Are engaged and have a positive outlook on life

·That you are responsible and can work independently

·Are positive and patient

·We have interdisciplinary collaboration with:

·District psychiatry, Queen Ingrid's hospital, social administration, occupational and physiotherapy, and the correctional service

·It would be an advantage if you can speak and understand Greenlandic and Danish, but it is not a requirement

Criminal record:

This position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal record. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received a criminal record. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon when the municipality has received the criminal record from the Police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreement between the Government of Greenland, according to the agreement/contract applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

The employment will be with a 3-month probation period.

No staff housing can be provided for the position.
