Educational consultant sought for the Round-the-Clock and Admissions Department in the Social Agency.

Do you want to help develop and strengthen the educational work in residential institutions and round-the-clock services in Greenland? The Social Authority is looking for an educational consultant who can ensure high professionalism, development, and implementation of educational strategies in the residential area.

About the Social Authority
The Social Authority is part of the Department of Children, Youth, and Family and consists of seven departments that work closely together. The Residential and Admissions Department is responsible for the operation and development of 7 self-government owned round-the-clock services and 11 residential institutions. The department provides educational advice and guidance to the institutions and ensures a high standard in the educational work.

About the position
As an educational consultant, you will:

• Develop and implement educational strategies and objectives.
• Ensure the quality of daily educational work in the residential area.
• Approve residential institutions and ensure documentation practices.
• Consult with educational staff and support professional development.
• Plan and facilitate annual principal seminars.
• Handle inquiries, reports, and operational tasks.
• Follow up on new projects in collaboration with principals.

Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and departure travel and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Housing
No staff housing is provided for the position. If an applicant already has staff housing through employment in the Self-Government, the right to assigned staff housing is retained. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.

Start date:
October 1, 2026, or by further agreement.
