We are looking for Culinary Assistant Apprentices

Inussuk is looking for a culinary assistant apprentice for our large kitchen at Pituffik Space Base.

You will be part of Dundas Buffet Restaurant, where we serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and night – every day of the week, all year round. The kitchen prepares about 500–600 meals daily, and the department has about 18 employees. Food Services is also responsible for catering to other installations as well as operating Dundas Delicatessen.

Your tasks

• Preparation of Danish and American dishes
• Receiving goods and ordering supplies (together with colleagues)
• Washing dishes and cleaning
• Compliance with food hygiene and self-control

You will participate in a shift system and learn all the kitchen's functions. You will report to a department manager and become part of the apprentice community at the base.

Requirements

• Permanent residence in Greenland
• Minimum 18 years old
• Can communicate in Danish (English is an advantage)
• Eligible for education support from the Government of Greenland
