Inussuk A/S is looking for a Supervisor for Non-Secure communications (NSC) Pituffik Space Base.

On behalf of Inussuk A/S, which maintains Pituffik Space Base, subcontractor V2X Services is seeking a Supervisor for the Non Secure Communications department. The NSC Supervisor is responsible for the overall management of the Non-Secure Communications departments, which cover communication systems on the base ranging from TV, radio, telephone systems, and telephone switching to radar and navigation equipment.

Primary tasks as Supervisor:

• Overall management of other salaried employees in NSC.
• Planning of vacations in the departments in relation to the needs of the work.
• Develop proposals for optimization/efficiency of operations in NSC.
• Responsible for ensuring that documentation requirements in the contract are met and secured via the Maximo Asset Management System.
• Report deviations to the Operations Manager
• Ensure that employees in the departments have the necessary competencies, that procedures and manuals are kept updated, and that they are followed.
• Conduct personnel interviews.

Areas of responsibility for NSC:

• Airfield electronics
• Electronic/communications equipment
• Monitor and coordinate activities for Lead Alarm Agents
• Operate and troubleshoot office equipment (PC, printer, fax, receivers,
• Alarm panels, telephone system, various software packages).

About you:

• Relevant education in and experience with electronics and communication
• Experience with management tasks from a service department with a mix of technical and customer-oriented tasks
• Leadership training is an advantage
• English
• Experience working with electronics and alarm systems
• Experience with fiber optic systems and Fiber to Home is an advantage
• Certifications in electronics and IT are an advantage

Danish citizenship is required for employment, and a valid driver's license for passenger cars is also a prerequisite.

In addition, we have strict health requirements and you must be able to obtain a security clearance (including a clean criminal record).
