Greenland Police is seeking administrative staff for the local prosecution authority in Nuuk. The position involves support for prosecutors and handling criminal cases. The application deadline is August 26, 2026, and the start date is November 1 or as soon as possible thereafter.
In the local prosecution authority of Greenland Police, we are looking for administrative employees who can support the prosecutors of the prosecution authority and who are eager to become part of an exciting and challenging everyday life.

About the job
The local prosecution authority receives the completed criminal cases from the police. Upon receipt, a lawyer will assess how the further legal processing of the case should proceed.
As an administrative employee, you assist with the solution of the administrative part of the overall task portfolio in the prosecution authority. Your main tasks will be sending criminal cases to court, coordinating court meetings, administratively finalizing resolved criminal cases, and providing other administrative support for the prosecutorial tasks.

master Danish both orally and in writing.

Salary and employment conditions
Currently, there is a larger effort to equalize salary and employment conditions for civil servants in Greenland with those for civil servants in Denmark and the Faroe Islands as much as possible. Therefore, there may be changed conditions in the period from April 1, 2026, onwards.
Compensation will be based on educational level and qualifications, and in accordance with the collective agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the relevant organization.
The working hours are 40 hours weekly.
The employment period is unlimited.
A non-furnished staff housing may be assigned to the position, for which you will pay a deposit, rent, and ongoing expenses. The size of the housing depends on the number of people in your household. Since there may be a waiting period for the assignment of staff housing, you will be provided with a furnished vacant housing in the meantime. There may be accommodation in a hotel for a shorter period if there is also a waiting period for a vacant housing. No vacant housing will be provided if you are already residing in Nuuk.
Free moving of personal belongings and travel for you and your household will be provided in accordance with the applicable rules at any time.
It is a prerequisite that you can be security cleared at the necessary level for the position. You may be required to perform functions where a higher security clearance is necessary. Employment in the police and in the prosecution authority is conditional on your ability to maintain the required security clearance at all times.
Greenland Police has implemented smoke and nicotine-free working hours.
