The Agency for Digitization is seeking an AC Officer for the Department of Cyber and Information Security. You will be part of an engaged team with an important mission: to strengthen the security around Greenland's digital solutions and information.

Your tasks

As an AC Officer, you will among other things:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of initiatives in cyber and information security.

  • Support the work with security policies, procedures, and guidelines.

  • Advise organizations and system owners on the secure use of digital solutions and handling of information.

  • Plan and conduct training, guidance, and awareness activities.

  • Participate in risk assessments, analyses, and evaluation of security challenges.

  • Contribute to the management, coordination, and follow-up on security incidents.

  • Support the implementation and further development of governance and security processes.

  • Create an overview of digital systems and support collaboration with system owners.

  • Participate in projects that strengthen digital security resilience across the public sector.

  • Eventually, become a security officer.

We are looking for you who

  • Have an interest in information security, digitization, and societal development.

  • Are curious and motivated to learn new things.

  • Have a structured and analytical approach to tasks.

  • Thrive with both collaboration and independent responsibility.

  • Can communicate complex topics in an understandable way.

  • Have a relevant higher education, e.g., cand.jur., cand.scient.pol., public administration education, or another social science education.

Experience with cyber or information security is an advantage, but not a requirement. We emphasize motivation, readiness to learn, and the desire to develop within the field.

Salary and employment conditions

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and departure travel and moving expenses, in accordance with the applicable agreement/collective agreement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization at the time of appointment.

The position is desired to be filled from October 1, 2026, or by agreement.

Housing

No staff housing is provided for the position. If an applicant already has staff housing through employment in the Self-Government, the right to assigned staff housing is retained. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
