The daycare institution Qivioq in Ilulissat Avannaata Municipality is seeking a social worker for employment starting September 1, 2026, or by further agreement.
The social worker's immediate supervisor is the daycare institution leader in Qivioq
Work and Responsibilities:
• Work in accordance with the institution's rules and objectives.
• Take care of the children in a safe and responsible manner.
• Collaboration between different teams and departments.
• Collaboration with parents.
• General tasks and prioritization regarding work assignments.

• Social worker education
• Responsibility.

• Collaborative.
• Humble and stable.
• Physically and mentally healthy as well as outgoing and cheerful.
Salary and Employment Conditions:Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between Naalakkersuisut and SIK at the time of commencement.
No housing is provided for the position.
Employment is subject to a satisfactory child certificate and public criminal record, which will be obtained by the employer from the National Police with the applicant's consent.
