On behalf of Inussuk A/S, which maintains Pituffik Space Base, V2X Services A/S is seeking a Program Financial Lead for Pituffik Space Base in Greenland.

Qualifications and experience

We are looking for a competent and independent finance profile who can assist the finance manager regarding the financial aspects of the program, which is the basis for our task at the base.

Your task is to support management in the preparation and administration of all financial data needs and to be responsible for assisting with month-end closing, including account reconciliations.

You will also need to coordinate and assist with audit support for both internal and external financial audits. Establish cost structures, fee codes, and billing accounts for the program. Provide management with expense updates to assist with budget decisions, including approval of PRs/POs and all other expense requests.

Furthermore, you will support the local team with accurate financial guidance based on established policies and procedures and assist in the preparation of monthly journal entries, ensuring that all reports adhere to appropriate financial standards and company requirements, as well as develop process improvements for month-end activities, program plans, forecasts, and budgets. You will also naturally assist in ongoing improvement projects that may involve the implementation of a new policy, process, or system.

We are looking for a person who

Is skilled in month-based cost analysis and has knowledge of payroll processes, company allocations, indirect burdens, audit and cost control requirements, organizational structure, internal reconciliations and balances, reporting tools, account structures, job number structures, contracts, revenue calculations, billing calculations, and consolidation of branch offices.

Can assist the finance manager in projects as needed and perform additional tasks as required.

Has expert knowledge of automated financial systems and Excel and can document abilities to lead projects and build successful financial programs in an organization.

Has an excellent understanding of advanced accounting principles and confidence to provide expert advice to program management.

And not least has attention to detail and accuracy.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or a minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting/finance.
• Min. 4 years of experience in progressively responsible positions within finance and accounting.
• A high level of knowledge in the use of financial software systems is required.
• Preferably knowledge of GAAP, CAS, and FAR.
• Advanced experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and other automated accounting systems.
• Understands database structures and data mining.
• Ability to conduct research and prepare reports.
• Ability to plan and follow budgets.
• Advanced calculation skills.
• Generally, extensive experience in finance and accounting is expected.

Requirements

Danish citizenship is required for employment, as well as a valid driver's license for passenger cars, and security clearance is necessary.
