Opportunity to work in a remote area of Southern Greenland.
As Driller your core role is to undertake drilling operations on Energold’s remote drilling project in Greenland. The driller is responsible for determining the optimal drilling methodology to successfully complete deep exploration boreholes using heli-portable diamond coring rigs. You will lead the drill team, managing your offsiders ensuring their safety whilst delivering quality core in a productive manner. You will be required to operate the rig 7 days per week with rest days off scheduled every 14 days. You will be required to work rotation of day and night shifts. You will live in a remote exploration camp for the duration of the assignment.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of 7 years diamond drilling experience, including management of equipment, drilling additive and bit selection. Experience operating in remote locations. Experience of helicopter supported drill programs beneficial. Experience drilling deep holes 750m+. First aid training. An exemplary safety record. Good spoken English.
