Integrated daycare institution Naalu:

·1 Social Helper

There is space for 56 children from 0 to 6 years old, divided into four rooms.

Work and responsibilities:

You will be jointly responsible for following the Inatsisartut Act no. 62 of November 20, 2023, on pedagogical developmental offers for preschool children, as well as working based on Qeqqata Municipality's political visions, children and youth policy, and pedagogical objectives, which are detailed on the Qeqqata Municipality website.

Criminal and Child Certificate:

This position is subject to the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal and child certificate. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received a satisfactory criminal and child certificate. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received a child certificate from the National Police, as well as a criminal certificate from the Police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal certificate is obtained by the individual from the Police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between Naalakkersuisut and Nunatsinni Perorsaasut Kattuffiat (NPK), Sulinermik inuussutissarsiortut kattuffiat (SIK) or another relevant negotiating organization.

The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.

Housing:

There will be the possibility of staff housing for the educator and social helper position, for which a deposit and rent, utilities, etc. are paid according to the applicable rules for rent payment in the Greenland Self-Government and the municipality's properties, etc. in Greenland. If permanent staff housing cannot be made available immediately upon commencement, temporary staff housing will be offered to employees entitled to vacant housing, for which rent, utilities, etc. are paid according to the above.

Relocation travel and moving expenses will be provided according to applicable rules.
