We are looking for a committee assistant for a newly created position in the committee secretariat. The tasks include planning committee activities, following up on decisions, and practical planning of committee trips. You should work independently and have good communication skills in Greenlandic, Danish, and English.
We are looking for
- a committee assistant in a newly established position in the committee secretariat
The tasks will range widely from administrative and practical tasks related to the servicing of the Inatsisartut committees, always in collaboration with the relevant committee secretary and reporting to the head of the committee secretariat:
Planning of the committee's activities, including contact with relevant partners.
Contribute to following up on the committees' decisions
Practical planning of committee trips
Contribute to time management and follow-up on the committee's activities.
Ad-hoc tasks related to committee servicing
We emphasize that you work independently and focused, and that you are comfortable following the structure and routines of the Inatsisartut meetings. Qualifications:
We expect you to possess good communication skills, both written and oral, in Greenlandic, Danish, and English.
Relevant education, commercial, administrative, or social science
Good experience with public administration
Structured, responsible, and used to meeting deadlines
Good IT skills, calendar management, emails, experience with Workzone, F2 or similar.
The position requires a sometimes high level of work effort.
