Content, Trail & Marketing Manager

Arctic Circle Business (ACB) is looking for a dedicated and independent Content, Trail & Marketing Manager for our office in Sisimiut.

Would you like to help tell the stories of Destination Arctic Circle – and at the same time develop the paths that make the experiences possible?

The position combines creative communication, maintenance and development of hiking trails in the region, as well as strategic marketing of Destination Arctic Circle (DAC).

We are looking for a person who is passionate about storytelling, nature and outdoor experiences, as well as regional development — and who can translate that into strong content and visibility across platforms.

About the position

• You create content that makes people dream of the Arctic Circle through photos, videos, and strong stories for DAC's social media, website, and other platforms.
• You plan and manage the content calendar and campaigns (both digital and physical) and continuously work with the analysis of reach, performance, and target audiences.
• Dialogue and relationship work with followers, local actors, volunteers, and municipal partners.

• You will play a central role in the development of hiking trails in the region, from planning and coordination to signage, maintenance plans, and collaboration with local forces.
• Development and implementation of marketing strategies for DAC and ACB as well as working on branding and visual identity in collaboration with the team.
• Preparation of materials for fairs, events, and establishing partnerships that enhance visibility and engagement.

• Has experience with digital communication, social media, and marketing.
• Has strong communication skills — both visually and in writing
• Has an interest in nature, outdoor life, and regional development.
• Can work independently and take responsibility for own projects.
• Thrives in a small team with a wide range of contacts.
• You are the type who can both take pictures in the mountains and analyze reach on Instagram afterwards.
• You can both work strategically and make things happen in practice.
