Coffee Lady

The all-day school is looking for a coffee lady. We offer a good job in a good workplace. It is a school with two departments, one is affiliated with Atuarfik Samuel Kleinschmidt and the other called the all-day school, located close to Nuussuup Atuarfia.

The students in the Full-Day School have special needs and, for various reasons, cannot receive education in general classes. The Full-Day School is a well-organized school that takes into account that all students benefit from the education tailored to their individual needs, and here the focus is on meeting the students' learning and development needs.

The school will have about 80 students and about 62 staff members. They are distributed across the school's two departments.

To be considered, one must be able to:

·To arrive on time

·Have knowledge about cleaning

·Must be able to brew tea and coffee

Must be able to set the table for coffee service.

·Must be able to understand the basic baking properties

·Can make some food

Has understanding and space for children with special needs

·Is compassionate

Being bilingual in Greenlandic and Danish is an advantage, but not a requirement.

The coffee lady's area of responsibility:

Prepare the students' packed lunches that are delivered from outside.

To clarify what the school serves to the students.

To prepare serving and coffee for gatherings

·To be jointly responsible for the teacher's kitchen and keep it tidy

To keep the teachers' lounge and other areas tidy.

·To prepare serving in connection with the teachers' and other persons' course

·To have coffee, tea, and cold water ready in the staff room

Criminal and Child Certificate:

The position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal record and child certificate. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received a satisfactory criminal record and child certificate. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police as well as the criminal record from the Police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal record is obtained by the individual from the Police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of appointment between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.

No staff housing can be provided for the position.
