Nutrition Assistant for Ippiarsuk

In addition to 4 care departments with 12 and 10 places respectively, a sheltered unit for the demented with 10 places, Ippiarsuk also consists of a department for younger people with disabilities with space for 12 residents, as well as a central building with day care / center function, where approximately 26 users come daily, but it can accommodate 39 users. There is also a cafeteria, laundry, and administration department associated with Ippiarsuk.

Ippiarsuk is a care and activity center that has been in use since 1999 and is located in beautiful natural surroundings with good bus connections.

Approximately 140 portions of main meals are prepared daily, as well as open-faced sandwiches and snacks for the residents; these are also sold in the café during the day to both users and staff. Many types of special diets are prepared on request from the departments, and users in the activity center, as well as orders from the departments and the rest of the house for catering for birthdays, meetings, and other activities in the house. There is also kiosk sales in the café.

The working hours are usually from 7 AM to 3 PM but also include varying part-time shifts from 8 AM to 4 PM; furthermore, work is to be expected every other weekend as well as on some of the year's public holidays.

Criminal record:

This position is subject to the law requiring the collection of a criminal record. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received a criminal record. We would therefore like to point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the criminal record from the Police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of appointment between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.
