Kitchen / Nutrition Assistant

The Health School is seeking 1 kitchen/nutrition assistant.

The position is desired to be filled on April 1, 2026, or by further agreement.

Peqqissaanermik Ilinniarfik is a branch school for basic health education and offers and conducts courses and other modular training. There are good opportunities for personal and professional development for the employees. We are a well-functioning workplace with about 28 employees. We work according to the recommendations of the Nutrition Council and have our own concept.

Do you want to:

• In collaboration with our cafeteria manager, to oversee the daily catering of students, participants, instructors, and other staff based on the established dietary policy.
• To contribute to a good course, study, and work environment

Qualifications:

• Educated in the food industry with a desire and commitment to participate in collaborative problem-solving.
• Stability, flexibility, and accountability.
• Economically and resource-conscious
• Bilingualism an advantage (Greenlandic and Danish)
• Weekly working hours: 40 hours.

Salary and employment conditions

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to travel for joining and leaving, as well as relocation of personal belongings, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Housing

No staff housing is provided for the position. If an applicant already has staff housing through employment in the Self-Government, the right to the assigned staff housing is retained. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
