In Municipality Kujalleq, we are looking for an engaged and service-minded IT supporter who wants to become part of our IT team and make a difference in everyday life.

For us, IT is much more than computers, cables, and systems. It’s about people, collaboration, and ensuring that technology works – from the employee in administration to the teacher and students in the classroom.

A workday with variation and responsibility

As an IT supporter, you will become an important part of the municipality's digital everyday life. You will have a versatile workday where you need to think creatively, solve technical challenges, and help colleagues across the organization.

Municipality Kujalleq covers three towns and eleven settlements, and our IT solutions support many different workplaces and functions.

You will be part of a team where we help each other, share knowledge, and work together to find the best solutions.

Your tasks will include:

oEnsuring stable operation and maintenance of the municipality's and schools' IT equipment.

oInstalling, configuring, and preparing computers, iPads, and other IT equipment.

oHelping colleagues with technical challenges – big and small.

oTroubleshooting and solving problems with software, hardware, and networks.

oGuiding and training users so they get the most out of our digital solutions.

oContributing to the development and improvement of the municipality's IT solutions.

oTaking on new and exciting tasks as the need arises.

Who are you?

We imagine that you are curious about technology, good with people, and not afraid to take initiative.

You do not need to know everything from day one. The most important thing is that you have a solid understanding of IT, a desire to learn, and the courage to find solutions.

We would like you to:

oHave experience with IT support, IT operations, or a relevant IT education.

oHave good knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, and common IT systems.

oHave experience with troubleshooting computers, networks, and software.

oBe familiar with iPads and other mobile devices.

oBe able to work independently, take responsibility, and maintain an overview.

oBe service-minded, patient, and good at communicating with different people.

oThrive with both routine tasks and unexpected challenges.

oHave a desire to contribute to a good working environment with humor, collaboration, and shared responsibility.

It is an advantage if you speak Greenlandic, Danish, and/or English.

You will be part of the IT department and report to the IT manager.

Salary, employment, and housing

Salary and employment conditions are determined in accordance with the applicable agreement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Relocation travel and moving expenses are provided according to applicable rules, and housing may be made available according to the applicable provisions.

Start: As soon as possible or by further agreement.

Salary and employment conditions

Salary and employment conditions, including paid travel and moving expenses upon commencement, are determined in accordance with applicable agreements between the Government and the negotiating organization.
