On behalf of Inussuk A/S, which maintains the Pituffik Space Base, subcontractor V2X Services A/S is seeking a Production Control Specialist.

The position is a continuous contract with departure as soon as possible.

You will be part of the Production control team of 3-5 employees, which has a workstation centrally located in the company with IT support and the alarm center under the same roof. Together with your colleagues, you have your finger on the pulse and can explain around the organization what is happening and why.

You have a basic knowledge and are quick to learn to use IT tools and will be introduced to special programs such as NexGen IT, Maximo, APIMS through the work.

The department is growing and today there are 30 specific tasks, but this will expand.

Tasks:

To give an impression, below is a list of 10 examples of possible tasks:

• Issuing disturbance reports in connection with planned interruptions of e.g. power, water, etc.
• Maintaining data in various systems – Maximo, Sharepoint, etc.
• Documentation of completed tasks in close collaboration with supervisors and project coordinators
• Responding to inquiries from colleagues and customers – via email (personal and shared mailbox), phone, personal inquiries, etc.
• Identifying processes that may be improved and/or created
• Ensuring correct registration of tasks and use of activity codes
• Issuing reports e.g. preventive maintenance
• Exchanging ideas and solution models internally in the department
• In collaboration with leaders and work areas, drafting customer offers
• Communicating with the billing department in the USA

About you:

Skills

• You are educated/experienced in administration and preferably have project experience.
• You are skilled at structuring information and work systematically.
• You can use the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, and are good at getting into new programs.
• You deliver and understand the value of a piece of careful administrative work.
• You are good at communicating in both Danish and English.
• You take responsibility for the data you work with. You are analytical and are one of the few who gets an overview of information in a work area, project, etc., and in that process reacts to discrepancies.
• You are proactive and solution-oriented.
• You are curious to understand what is happening around the base and able to connect information together.
• You take responsibility and solve problems yourself, as you gain experience. You ask your colleagues or leader if there are challenges you cannot solve.
• You are service-minded. There are many at the workplace who find IT challenging and need your help so they can be productive in their field. You help with a smile.
• Advantage if you have worked with offers/estimates on smaller tasks.
• Advantage if you have experience with multicultural collaboration.

Danish citizenship is required for employment, and a valid driver's license for passenger cars is also a prerequisite.

In addition, we have strict health requirements and you must be able to obtain a security clearance (including a clean criminal record).
