The youth club Naapiffik in Ilulissat is looking for a leader with a pedagogical education to run the club from December 1, 2026. The position involves daily management, administrative tasks, and collaboration with local institutions to ensure a safe and developmental club for young people.
Leader for the Youth Club Naapiffik in Ilulissat
The position as leader of the youth club "Naapiffik" is available for occupancy from December 1, 2026, or by agreement.
A leader is sought, preferably one with a pedagogical education, who is stable, active, independent, and who can develop the club into the best youth club for children/youth in Greenland.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Daily management and operation of the youth club
- Work based on the political objectives for the youth area in Avannaata Municipality
- Administrative tasks
- Ensure a safe and secure youth club for youth, parents, and staff
- Work purposefully with new ideas and policies
- Daily close collaboration with the leader at School Care Tikiusaaq
- Working hours on weekdays from 6:30 PM – 10:45 PM
- Preventive collaboration with the prevention committee in Ilulissat Peqqinneq Sunngiffillu Ilulissat
Salary and employment conditions:
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland and the negotiating organization at the time of commencement.
No housing is provided for the position.
Employment is conditional upon satisfactory criminal records, which will be obtained by the employer from the National Police after the applicant's signature.
