For the nursing home Luuvikasik in Narsaq, 2 health assistants are sought for temporary positions of 1, 3 and/or 6 months. The nursing home has space for 30 residents, divided into dementia and care departments, as well as a department for more self-sufficient residents.

We are looking for 2 health assistants who can/have the ability to:

• Provide basic care and direct assistance.
• Participate in innovation and development
• Contribute to activities for residents
• Be involved in training assistants and interns
• Work to ensure that residents feel safe and have a meaningful life
• Ensure the quality of care
• Be jointly responsible for professionalism being in play in all situations
• Be proactive in the development and maintenance of professionalism
• The positions involve home care duties

Qualifications and requirements

• Trained as a health assistant
• Proactive and ability to involve colleagues
• Bilingual in Greenlandic and Danish (though not a requirement)
• Clean criminal record

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreements between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
