Laboratory assistant for Polar Raajat A/S in Nuuk

Polar Raajat A/S, Nuuk is a modern shrimp factory focused on quality, food safety, and efficient production. We are looking for a Laboratory Assistant who is eager to contribute to the daily operations of our laboratory. You will receive the necessary training, so the most important thing is that you are thorough, reliable, and interested in the work.

Your tasks

·       Control, registration, and follow-up on quality data from production

·       Preparation and setup of materials for the laboratory's analyses.

·       Various ad hoc tasks

Once you are familiar with the basic tasks, you will have the opportunity for training in several of the laboratory's work tasks: 

o Taking environmental and product samples in production

o Performing chemical analyses

o Control and calibration of production and laboratory equipment in accordance with applicable procedures

Your profile

·       You are interested in data registration, laboratory work, and practical tasks involving quality and control. Experience is an advantage, but the most important thing is that you are eager to learn.

·       You enjoy working according to procedures and following them.

·       You work independently and in a structured manner, but also thrive in collaborating within a team.

·       You are reliable.

·       You can communicate in English in your daily work, as English is used in the laboratory. You do not need to speak perfect English, but you must be willing to use and develop the language.
