Laboratory Technician for Polar Raajat A/S, Nuuk

Polar Raajat A/S, Nuuk is a modern shrimp factory focused on quality, food safety, and efficient production. We are looking for a skilled Laboratory Technician who will help ensure stable operation of our laboratory.

Your tasks

• Sampling of environmental and product samples in production

• Conducting microbiological and chemical analyses

• Substrate production

• Control and calibration of production and laboratory equipment in accordance with applicable procedures

• Monitoring and follow-up on quality data from production

Your profile

• You are a trained laboratory technician or have another scientific education, e.g., a bachelor's degree in microbiology or biology.

• Experience with laboratory work or work in the food industry is an advantage, but not a requirement.

• You work carefully according to established procedures and contribute to ensuring they are followed in daily work.

• Works independently and in a structured manner, but also thrives in a team.

• You are flexible, solution-oriented, and have a critical and quality-conscious approach to your own work.

• You can communicate in English in daily work, as the working language in the laboratory is English. You do not need to speak perfect English, but you must be willing to use and develop your language skills.
