Preschool Børnehave Angaju is looking for a deputy manager

• 1 Deputy Manager

There is room for 40 children aged 4 to 6 years, distributed across three rooms.

Tasks and responsibilities:

You will be jointly responsible for following the Inatsisartut Act No. 62 of November 20, 2023, on pedagogical development offers for preschool children, as well as working based on Qeqqata Kommunia's political visions, children and youth policy, and pedagogical objectives, which are detailed on the Qeqqata Kommunia website.

Qualifications:

• You are educated as a pedagogue or similar
• You can collaborate closely with the leader
• You can take on responsibility in the leader's absence
• You are clear and can set boundaries when necessary
• You are attentive to the environment in the house
• That you have knowledge of The Good Daycare Institution
• That you can converse with parents about children's development
• That you can plan and delegate tasks
• That you can create something new
• That you have an overview of tasks
• That you are stable/engaged in your work
• That you can work responsibly
• That you are positive/fresh and welcoming
• That you can speak Greenlandic and Danish
• That you have knowledge of IT/computer operation
• That you can be attentive to new initiatives
• That you have a respectful pedagogical viewpoint
• That you can handle stressful situations
• That you are attentive to children with special needs
• That you have experience working with children
• That you find collaboration important and are willing to cooperate
• You are open to new initiatives, welcoming
• That you know the applicable rules, policies, and laws

Criminal and Child Certificate:

This position is subject to the law requiring the collection of criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon when the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police, as well as the criminal certificate from the Police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal certificate is obtained by the individual from the Police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between Naalakkersuisut and Nunatsinni Perorsaasut Kattuffiat (NPK) or another relevant negotiating organization.

Employment: January 1, 2027, or by agreement.

The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.
