Sustainability Consultant for Sisimiut
Qeqqata Municipality is seeking a sustainability consultant affiliated with the Welfare Area and cross-cutting projects.
The position offers exciting health-promoting and cross-cutting tasks within the social sector.
We want the sustainability consultant to coordinate the cross-cutting and coherent efforts within the Welfare Area, as part of the staff function.
Work and Responsibilities:
- Implementation and management of projects, implementation and follow-up.
- Participate in task forces established by the Welfare Area or the management group
- Preparation of consultation responses to the Self-Government
- Preparation of case presentations for projects within the Welfare Area and the municipal council
- Investigation and examination of specific tasks within family and social issues
- Assists in consultancy tasks for the management, the management group, the finance committee, and the municipal council
- Collection of data for internal and external use
- Tasks in collaboration with the rest of the staff
- Communication tasks internally and externally in collaboration with the staff's Communication Officer
- Ad hoc tasks
Qualifications:
- You have a relevant longer higher education and preferably knowledge of Greenlandic societal conditions
- You are good at communicating, orally and in writing
- You are good at collaborating across disciplines and influencing your surroundings
- Good knowledge of working in a politically governed organization
- Proactive, action-oriented, and flexible with a good overview
- You can work purposefully in a double cultural environment
- Preferably multilingual, Greenlandic, Danish, and English
Salary and Employment Conditions:Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation, are in accordance with the applicable agreements and collective agreements between Naalakkersuisut and your negotiating organization.
The position is administratively located in Sisimiut and organized under the Head of Staff in Sisimiut.
