2 health assistants are sought for temporary positions in Narsaq

For the nursing home Luuvikasik in Narsaq, 2 health assistants are sought for temporary positions of 3 and/or 6 months. The nursing home has space for 30 residents, divided between dementia and care departments, as well as a department for more self-sufficient residents.

We are looking for 2 health assistants who can/have skills in:

• Basic care and direct assistance, medication dosing
• Participate in innovation and development
• Contribute to activities for residents
• Be involved in training assistants and interns
• Work to ensure that residents feel safe and have a meaningful life
• Ensure quality of care
• Co-responsible for professionalism being in play in all situations
• Proactive for development and maintenance of professionalism
• The positions involve home care duties

Qualifications and requirements

• Educated as a health assistant
• Initiative and ability to involve colleagues
• Bilingual in Greenlandic and Danish (not a requirement)
• Clean criminal record

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreements between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organizations.
