Then you are the one we are looking for.
We are looking for teachers – starting September 1, 2026 – who wish to:
- Engage in a committed collaboration to enhance students' competencies: in various subjects.
- If the applicant also has special skills in IT and the use of iPads in teaching, these skills will also be useful.
- We are looking for teachers who can teach mathematics, natural geography, physics/chemistry, and Danish.
- If the applicant, in addition to their teaching degree, also has skills/other education in the social field, they will also be very relevant to us.
- Good school facilities / well-maintained school (since 2009).
- Good facilities where iPads are increasingly integrated into everyday life.
- Built with many school students: Most grades have their own class. 1-10 grade.
- Good opportunities for collegial collaboration / space to think and try new paths.
- The school has housing, you don't need to live in a vacant place.
- Night renovation is paid for by the municipality, while day renovation is paid by you.
- Water is supplied from the school.
- Rent of approximately 1500 DKK.
- Good opportunities for outdoor life/hunting-fishing. The school has a log cabin that you can walk to in about 3-4 hours, which is used for camp school.
- Training opportunities in the school's multipurpose hall and many leisure activities for children, young people, and adults.
Kullorsuup Atuarfissua will have approximately 90 students and about 15 teachers in the upcoming school year, and since 2009 (except for two years) we have held the final exams of the folk school.
Salary and employment conditions
The employment is in accordance with the agreement between the Greenland Self-Government and IMAK. Applicants coming from a civil servant position in Greenland will retain the right to this form of employment. Housing will be provided, for which payment will be made according to the applicable rules at any given time. Employment on special fixed-term conditions may be offered - by agreement.
This includes, among other things: An annual holiday trip for the household and a severance amount of approximately 19,000 DKK per year of employment.
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation travel and moving expenses, are in accordance with the terms at the time of commencement.
