At the Education Agency, we work to ensure that teaching and learning in Greenland have the best conditions – regardless of where in the country one goes to school or takes an education. We are part of the Self-Government and have a daily routine where our tasks range from supporting the primary school to contributing knowledge and solutions across the education sector.

A large part of our work involves making knowledge and materials easily accessible for those who are in the midst of teaching. This can be guidelines, frameworks, and information that teachers, leaders, and other professionals use in practice, and which are collected and communicated through our teaching portal Iserasuaat. We emphasize that what we create can be used in reality – and that it is clear, updated, and workable.

As a workplace, we are characterized by collaboration and a high degree of professionalism. We solve tasks at the intersection of pedagogy, development, digitization, and public administration, and we often work closely with schools, educational institutions, and other stakeholders.
