Timmiaaqqat

At Timmiaaqqat we are an integrated daycare institution in Nuuk, where everyday life is about creating safe environments and a good childhood – for both the very small and the slightly larger. We work closely with the children and their families, and we emphasize that all children are met with warmth, presence, and respect for who they are.

We believe that children grow by having the space to practice – and by adults who support them in becoming more independent. Therefore, we help the children articulate their thoughts and feelings, dare to express their opinions, and experience the pride in “I can do it myself,” while we create calm and clarity around them in everyday life.

As a workplace, Timmiaaqqat is a place where collaboration matters. We are many different professions gathered under the same roof, and we succeed best when we plan, consult, and lift together – both in busy moments and in quiet times, where relationships are truly allowed to grow.

If you enjoy a daily life with meaning, where you are allowed to make a concrete difference for children's well-being, learning, and development, then Timmiaaqqat is a place where you can find your place. Here we work with the ambition of sustainable daycare institutions that embrace all children and give them the best conditions to become curious, resilient, and happy individuals.
