At Greenland Sports Federation (GIF), we work to strengthen sports across the country – from local clubs and volunteer enthusiasts to special federations and larger development projects. We are the common gathering point for sports, and we are passionate about creating frameworks that make it easier to be active, engage, and succeed in sports in Greenland.

Our daily life is characterized by collaboration across: We coordinate, develop, and support initiatives that strengthen community life, coaching and leadership skills, and good, safe environments – especially for children and youth. At the same time, we work closely with municipalities, federations, and other partners, so good ideas are translated into concrete efforts that can be felt locally.

We have a great ambition to elevate movement and sports throughout Greenland, and this is reflected in our projects and our way of working: We think long-term but act practically – with a focus on quality, community, and sustainable solutions that fit Greenlandic conditions.
