About the company
At Tilioq, we work for people with disabilities in Greenland to live an independent and dignified life on equal footing with everyone else. We are a national, politically independent advocacy and knowledge institution that makes a concrete difference every day by putting rights, opportunities, and equality at the center.
A large part of our work involves counseling and guidance. We help people with disabilities and their relatives understand their rights and find the right way forward — among other things when they need support to navigate public offers and complaint options. At the same time, we also advise public and private actors when they seek input on the disability sector and on how practices can become more accessible and inclusive.
We also broaden our perspective and work for lasting improvements. We do this by collecting knowledge, publishing analyses and reports, participating in public debate, and making proposals for initiatives that strengthen the conditions for people with disabilities in Greenland. Our common compass is the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, which we work to translate into reality in everyday life.
As a workplace, we are a small team with great responsibility and high professionalism, where collaboration, integrity, and respect are crucial. Here, there is a short path from idea to action, and you will have the opportunity to be close to both people and societal change — in a job that requires empathy, professionalism, and the courage to have important conversations.
