Tikiusaaq

At Tikiusaaq, we work with some of the most important things there are: to create a safe and developing everyday life for children in Nuuk. We are an integrated daycare institution under Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq, and our everyday life is built around presence, clear frameworks, and a warm community – both for the children and for us who work here.

We meet the children at eye level and emphasize play, learning, and well-being in an environment where there is room for diversity. In practice, this means that we collaborate closely across professional fields, support each other in everyday life, and focus on creating calm and stability – even when there are many balls in the air.

As a workplace, Tikiusaaq is a place where you become part of a team that takes responsibility for each other and for the task. We believe that good pedagogy is created through strong relationships, clear communication, and a culture where one can ask, spar, and develop together.

If you thrive in a meaningful everyday life, where you can feel that your efforts make a difference for children and families in the local community, then Tikiusaaq is a place where you can find both professionalism, community, and job satisfaction.
