Taseralik

At Taseralik, we work in the vibrant cultural heart of Sisimiut – a house where the city comes together around music, performing arts, film, and art exhibitions. Our everyday life is about creating experiences that bring people together across ages and interests, and that provide space for both the large audience and close communities.

We are both a cultural center and a cinema – and at the same time a place where conferences, public meetings, and events can have the best framework. Many guests also know Café Taseralik, where one can take a break with food or coffee and enjoy the view over the lake and the mountains outside.

As a workplace, we are a place with a fast pace, many collaborative areas, and plenty of variation. One day is about planning and coordinating an event, the next is about making the details work when the audience comes through the door – and often both at the same time.

The most important thing for us is the feeling of being hosts: to warmly welcome people, create safe environments, and ensure that both local actors and outside guests feel welcome. If you thrive on having many balls in the air, and if you are motivated to make a difference for the cultural life in Sisimiut, then Taseralik is a place where you can grow.
