At the Self-Government's Canteen (TAMU), we are the ones who ensure that everyday life runs smoothly for many people in the Self-Government – with good, freshly prepared food and a calm break in the middle of a busy workday. We prepare lunch daily in the canteen and also provide catering for the Self-Government's units, meetings, courses, and events.

Our approach is simple: proper food made from scratch, seasonal ingredients, and a production that takes responsibility. We focus on reducing food waste and use Greenlandic ingredients as much as possible when it makes sense. At the same time, we work according to a healthy dietary policy, where we also take into account allergens as well as gluten and lactose intolerance.

As a colleague, you will become part of a professional kitchen team, where we help each other, plan together – and where there is room to contribute ideas and put your own stamp on the menus. We emphasize that one is stable, cooperative, and can take responsibility in a daily routine where quality and service must be prioritized every day.

The canteen is reserved for the Self-Government's staff as well as employees of the National Police and the Representation, and we serve around 150 users daily. This means that you will have a workplace with fixed frameworks, clear expectations, and an important role in creating a good experience for those who use the canteen.
