PI/SPS

At PI/SPS – The School of Social Education / Social Pedagogical Seminar – we work every day to enhance professionalism in the social and pedagogical field in Greenland. We are a seminar with close contact to practice, and our most important task is to educate and develop the competencies of people who make a real difference for children, young people, adults, and the elderly.

We offer both education and courses, and we place great emphasis on the fact that the teaching is applicable in reality. This means that we collaborate broadly with institutions and actors in Greenlandic society, and that our professional environment is characterized by engagement, curiosity, and responsibility for the quality that meets citizens in their daily lives.

As a workplace, we are characterized by a strong collegial community, where there is room for professional sparring and for contributing your own ideas. We work based on a fundamental idea of “the whole person” – and we believe that good results are created through relationships, respect, and a shared understanding of why our work is important.
