Nuussuup Atuarfia

At Nuussuup Atuarfia in the district of Nuussuaq in Nuuk, you will meet a primary school where everyday life is full of life, presence, and strong relationships. Here we work closely together on the most important thing we have: children's well-being, learning, and courage for the future.

As a school, we are part of Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq, and we teach students from 1st to 10th grade. This means that we both follow the children in their first school year and are there when they take the big steps towards upper secondary school. We have an environment where there is room for different needs and learning paths, and where collaboration across professional groups is a natural part of everyday life.

Working with us is about being part of a collegial community where we help each other and share experiences – both when the days go fast and when there is a need for extra support around a student or a class. We emphasize clarity, respect, and a proper tone, and we thrive best when we lift together.

If you are motivated by creating safe frameworks, strong learning communities, and a school day with meaning, then Nuussuup Atuarfia is a place where you can take responsibility, receive professional sparring, and have the opportunity to make a concrete difference – every single day.
