Nunatta Atuagaateqarfia
About the company
At Nunatta Atuagaateqarfia, you meet a workplace where knowledge, language, and culture come alive – every single day. We are Greenland's national library in Nuuk, and our task is to provide citizens with easy access to books, media, and experiences that inspire, inform, and bring people together across age and background.
In everyday life, the work is about much more than lending. We convey literature and culture, help users find the right material, and create the framework for events and activities that make the library an open and curious community. Here, there is room for both immersion, learning, and new ideas – and you can clearly feel that we are here for the users.
As part of Nunatta Atuagaateqarfia, Groenlandica, Greenland's national library and research library, also belongs, which works to collect and preserve materials about Greenland and Greenlandic conditions. This means that we both take on an important cultural heritage task and at the same time have a vibrant, modern library operation close to people and society.
We are a workplace with many different professional backgrounds – from librarians and communicators to administration and communication – and we succeed best when we do things together. If you thrive on collaboration, service, and communication, and would like to help strengthen access to knowledge and culture in Greenland, then Nunatta Atuagaateqarfia could be a truly meaningful place to work.
