Nukariit

At Nukariit, we work with the sea as our most important workplace. We are a small, locally rooted company in Maniitsoq, where everyday life is about making things work – regardless of weather, season, and distances. Here, there is a short distance from decision to action, and you can feel that your efforts make a real difference.

Our work is based on sea fishing, where operation, planning, and practical craftsmanship go hand in hand. This means that we emphasize carefulness, responsibility, and good collaboration – both when tasks are routine and when something unforeseen arises that needs to be solved quickly and properly.

As a workplace, we are characterized by an informal tone and an expectation that people help each other. You typically have a broad responsibility, and this requires that you are reliable, take initiative, and thrive in a daily routine where there is not always a “standard solution.” In return, you get freedom, trust, and a working environment where people know each other and stand together on the tasks.

If you are motivated by working closely with nature, enjoy practical work, and appreciate a down-to-earth everyday life with clear agreements, then you will likely feel at home with us at Nukariit.
