NAPA

At NAPA – The Nordic Institute in Greenland, we work to strengthen Nordic cooperation based on Greenland. We are a cultural institution under the Nordic Council of Ministers, and our everyday life is about creating connections: between people, ideas, art, and collaborations across the Nordic region and the Arctic.

A large part of our work focuses on supporting, stimulating, and developing Greenlandic cultural life – particularly with a focus on children and youth. This can be through advice, sparring, and support for projects, or by helping cultural actors find the right Nordic networks and opportunities. We also convey Nordic culture to Greenland and Greenlandic/Arctic culture further into the Nordic region.

As a workplace, we are a small, dedicated team with many points of contact. We are located in the Katuaq Cultural Center in Nuuk, and we emphasize an open door, close collaboration, and a daily life where one both takes responsibility and can feel that the work makes a difference. There is room for initiative here – and for thinking big, even when we are few.
