Nanortallip Atuarfia

At Nanortalik School, we are the town's public school in Nanortalik – a place where everyday life is close to both the local community and the Greenlandic nature. Our task is to provide children and young people with a safe and motivating school life, where they become academically strong, curious about the world, and proud of their own resources.

We work with teaching, well-being, and community in the same movement. This means that we emphasize clear frameworks in the classroom, good relationships, and a collaboration that extends to both parents and the rest of the town. Here we help each other – both when it is busy and when there is a need to think anew.

As a workplace, we are a place where you become part of an attentive team that takes responsibility together. We value open dialogue, professional sparring, and a culture where one can ask for help and share ideas. With us, you have the opportunity to leave your mark on the teaching and help create the framework for students' development – every single day.

Nanortalik is a special place to live and work, and you can also feel that in school life. Nature, the seasons, and the local stories become a natural part of both learning and activities. If you thrive on closeness, collaboration, and a daily life where community matters, then Nanortalik School could be the perfect place for you.
