With us at Meeqqerivik Sulunnguit – “the small wings” – we work every day to give children a safe and curious starting point for the next step in life. We are a small, independent, and bilingual kindergarten in Nuuk, where closeness, community, and a warm everyday life mean just as much as professionalism.

Our pedagogy is based on a appreciative approach: We see, hear, and embrace each individual child, and we help the children become independent, self-sufficient, and open to the world. There is room for both calm and loud laughter – and to be exactly who you are.

Outdoor life and health are very important to us. We are outside every day after lunch, in all kinds of weather, because nature and movement give children both body awareness, courage, and good habits. At the same time, it gives us a daily life filled with plenty of concrete experiences and play, which we can build learning and development on.

As a colleague in Sulunnguit, you become part of a small house with short distances between people. Here we help each other, share responsibility, and have the opportunity to influence everyday life close to the children.
